The first Nightline was founded in 1970, with an aim to reduce the rates of student suicide. Nowadays, Nightlines, of which there are over 90 nationwide, provide a range of services to students, including emotional listening support and information. Nightline Dundee is a listening and information support service. Our aim is to help students cope with the difficulties they may encounter during their time at university. Our service is staffed entirely by student volunteers and we are fully accredited by the Nightline Association. We work closely with DUSA to promote the service and make sure it meets the needs of its users. If you have any questions, you can contact Linnea Sjöstâl and Ciera Haggar (Our Nightline Co-Directors) by emailing  nightlinedirector@dundee.ac.uk. If you’re interested in being a part of Nightline, please have a look at our  Volunteer page.
